Steel Gravel Bike Setel L - 58
Description
The Setel Steel gravel bike is a unique size L (58) bike, made of unique steel "made in France" created by us from its design, its custom assembly, to its personalization by hand, in Paris.
Bicycles are made to order only. Contact us.
The buyer of this bike modified the groupset as well as the bottom bracket.
The shape and geometry of this Steel bike have been designed to meet the needs of a comfortable ride on both roads and trails, whether dynamic or long-distance. Its handling is ideal for long rides, tackling climbs with confidence, and descending slopes with stability.
A benchmark style
Less is more, we wanted to offer a timeless, steel bicycle where the shape of the frame, the choice of color and the selection of components speak for themselves.
Indeed, we had to respond to the three "Wow!" reactions, characterized by three fundamental points:
1- The visual aspect.
2- The touch (seated, hands on the handlebars).
3- Driving.
To justify its style and its considerable visual aspect, the inspiration for its neo-retro details such as cable routing and stops and guides comes from leading custom bicycle frame builders.
Therefore, our Steel bikes are designed to appeal to a passionate clientele eager to acquire "their" bike. Our project aims to support new owners and build their bikes to order, according to their specific wishes, from size and color to the choice of components and accessories.
All this in the very heart of Paris, over a quality coffee.
Each model is unique
This particular model is the first version of our Gravel bikes. It's unique thanks to the black components chosen to complement the "earth red" color of the frame. The Columbus carbon fork has also been customized in this way, featuring a darker, matte red tone. The Columbus logo reveals the raw carbon of this fork. Not to mention the SimWorks tires with tan sidewalls.
Made in France
This first model was manufactured and epoxy-painted (to prevent stone chips) by the Caminade workshops in the Pyrenees. We opted for TIG welding for its strength and precision.
The assembly and personalization by hand are carried out at Steel in Paris by François Morel.
Technical specifications
This gravel bike was built using Columbus Spirit and Life tubing, known for its lightness and stiffness. The double-bend rear stays and Columbus Futura Cross fork allow for tire diameters up to 45mm.
