The Steel gravel bike is a unique steel bike "made in France" created by us from its design, its custom assembly, to its personalization by hand, in Paris.
Therefore, our Steel bikes are designed to appeal to a passionate clientele eager to acquire "their" bike. The future owner is guided through the design process, tailoring their bike to their specific wishes, from size and color to the choice of components and accessories.
All this in the very heart of Paris, over a quality coffee at Steel.
Less is more, we offer a timeless, steel bicycle, where the shape of the frame, the choice of color and the selection of components speak for themselves.
Indeed, we had to respond to the three "Wow!" reactions, characterized by three fundamental points:
1- The visual aspect.
2- The touch (seated, hands on the handlebars).
3- Driving.
To justify its style and its considerable visual aspect, the inspiration for its neo-retro details such as cable routing and stops and guides comes from leading custom bicycle frame builders.
MADE IN FRANCE, FINISHED IN PARIS.
Manufacturing
Steel frames are initially manufactured in France using Columbus Life and Spirit tubing, known for its stiffness and lightness. Thanks to TIG welding, the tubes are held securely and discreetly together.
Paint
The frames are then painted with an epoxy paint chosen for its resistance to abrasion and stone chips. Finally, a window painter comes to Steel for a unique, hand-painted customization.
Assembly
Finally, in collaboration with a specialist mechanic, we assemble the selected peripherals and components according to the wishes of the future owner.
ESTEL
The sounds of a woman's name...how fitting, this model is dedicated to her. Thus, it is in the colors of the lichen that this bicycle will roam through nature, its chrome reflecting the sunlight, guided by its owner. She will enjoy life on a bike that makes quite an impression, and her story is only just beginning.

The frame is longer and wider. It was created to accommodate a taller cyclist who wants to ride upright, confidently, and for long distances. However, nothing will stop them from pushing hard or tackling hills and mountains, enhanced by this warm and vibrant color inspired by the red earth of the Esterel.
