Instruments Supply Wool Shirt 0012023
Description
The Instruments Supply Shirt 0012023 is a long-sleeved wool shirt.
It is designed for people who get cold while cycling, hiking, fishing, climbing, etc., but it is also suitable for slightly more formal environments.
Medieval Loden
The material used for instrument 0012023 is merino wool: a renewable, biodegradable, warm, soft, and antibacterial material. It is spun and woven into a fabric called loden, a traditional felted fabric that appeared in Europe during the Middle Ages and was used by farmers and shepherds to protect themselves from the wind and rain. It is functional, and we find it very attractive.
Details to know
The sleeves and overall length of the shirt are slightly longer than average to maintain coverage when the arms are extended. It features reflective stitching on the lower left side, a chest pocket, a hanging loop, and a spare button. The Instrument 0012023 is also suitable for casual environments and is available in a limited run of 100 shirts.
Almost everything comes from Europe.
Wool dyeing, yarn spinning, weaving, cutting, sewing, labeling, buttons: everything was done in Europe by people who know what they're doing. Everything, that is, except the merino wool itself, which was shorn near Geelong, Australia – we couldn't find this extra-fine merino quality anywhere else.
