The Alba Optics Delta Candy Fuscia Lava glasses are inspired by models from the 80s and 90s. Laurent Fignon, The Professor, won the Giro d'Italia in 1989, just a few months before the fall of the Berlin Wall. Computers are appearing in homes and offices. Miguel Indurain becomes the last of the greatest champions. It's the beginning for a Russian, Berzin, and a moment of glory for the pirate, Pantani, who is responsible for a renaissance in the passion for Italian cycling.
The frame is made of Tr90, nylon and carbon fiber, and skin-friendly even after long-time use. They are 20% lighter than other conventional pairs and offer better protection against shocks.
Wearing glasses allows perfect vision when passing the eyes from the pedals to the road. This particular aspect allows the athlete to stay focused on his performance without interference. The branches are solid and guarantee a good hold even in the event of shocks or sudden movements of the head.
Delta uses non-centered 6 polycarbonate lenses to allow fixed vision without lateral distortion. Their curve covers an optical cone of 180°, allowing excellent protection against wind and strong light, which often reflects on other sunglasses creating a blinding effect.
